The best Pink for Medium-to-Dark Skin Tones.

I am a connoisseur of pink cosmetics. I can tell you exactly where you need to go to get the best pink blushes, gloss, and polish. Not everyone can wear the same shade of pink obviously, but sometimes it's especially hard to find a good match when you have a darker skin tone. For medium-to-dark skin tones try and stay away from pale pinks, they'll make your lips look chapped and your cheeks ashy.

My favorite pink lip liner is Eastend Snob by Rimmel and it's under $5. It matches perfectly with my #1 go to pink lipstick FAVE(no other color compares trust me) Angel by MAC cosmetics. This shade was made really popular by Kim Kardashian, which goes to show you how versatile this shade is.

I tend to like my nails matching my lipstick, English Rose by Rimmel is the perfect match to MAC's Angel. It literally looks like you painted your nails with lipstick , that kind of perfect match.

All I need now is to find some heels and a bag that match. Now where can I go to make that happen?

Blame it on the Pinterest.

Yea, so I've been M.I.A for awhile now. Nowadays when I have free time I spend it all on Pinterest.com. Without a doubt, the second I know I won't be disturbed at my cubicle I am on Pinterest. Though at times it can get annoying with people repining the same thing over and over, I still love the site. I do although find myself feeling incredibly hungry afterwards. With the new year approaching (I KNOW I ALWAYS SAY THIS) I am really going to start doing more post. I am telling you, post it notes everywhere, taking pictures of EVERYTHING, it will happen. I am cleaning out my camera now. With good intentions I did take TONS of photos of dinners I cooked. I just always forgot to post them on my blog. So I bring to you a quick glimpse of a year in food that I personally prepared.

-Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with steamed rice.

-BBQ Pork Chops w/ baked bourbon beans and corn on the cob. We generally never eat pork but this was very good.
 - Crock pot Turkey Tortilla Soup. I made those tortilla chips by frying  old flour tortillas in peanut oil. So good.

- Spicy Sausage & Zucchini Pasta. This was my plate. Whenever we eat pasta I load my plate w/more salad.

- My attempt at a "Southern Dinner" Fried Chicken, deviled eggs, sweet potato casserole and green beans.

 - Sausage & Peppers with red skinned potatoes.

- Spaghetti with Vodka sauce and broccoli.

-Chicken Chili Frito Pie. Yumm, I want some of that now.

 - Roasted Rosemary Chicken w/ veggies. My apartment smelled like La Madeline while cooking this!
 - July 4th a la Matthew. Grilled Beef Ribs, Mac N' Cheese, Onion Rings, Baked Beans, Wings, Stuffed Mushrooms, and baked beans.

I really need to get one of those fancy cameras that make any picture look like it came from a five star restaurant.

Delightfully yours,

Kandiss Dee
